Golden Hour Romance at Blackie Spit
When Elise and Zach met me at Blackie Spit for their couples session, I knew we were about to create something special. The goal? A romantic, Lana Del Rey-inspired vibe at golden hour—and these two showed up looking like they stepped straight out of a music video.
Blackie Spit is one of those hidden gems near Crescent Beach—a little drive from the Fraser Valley, but so worth it. The soft sand, ocean breeze, and moody sunset tones made it the perfect backdrop for their love story.
Fun fact: I’ve actually known Elise for quite some time, but this was my first time photographing her as an adult—and with her boyfriend, Zach.
Watching her step in front of my lens with such grace and joy felt full circle. I felt genuinely privileged to capture this beautiful chapter of her life.
