The Start of Something Beautiful
Most of the couples I photograph have been together for a while—but every now and then, a new love story just jumps out at you.
That’s exactly what happened when I spotted Colin—someone I’ve known for a while—posting about this beautiful new woman in his life, Becca. The way they showed up in each other’s photos, even early on, caught my eye instantly. There was something about their connection that felt electric, easy, and real.
They were just about a month into their relationship when I reached out and asked if they’d do a session with me. Without hesitation, they said yes—and I’m so grateful they did.
A few days before the shoot, I went location scouting across Abbotsford, looking for some lesser-known spots that had that cozy, tucked-away vibe. I ended up finding three hidden gems, and we made the most of all of them during our shoot.
Becca and Colin brought such great energy—open, playful, and totally in the moment. The photos feel like little windows into their spark, and it was so much fun capturing that new-love magic.
