Taylor and Mattias actually reached out to me only a few months before their wedding day, and from the moment we met for tea at Amazi Coffee House with Taylor and her mom, I knew this was going to be something special. As a mom myself with a daughter of my own, I instantly connected with Taylor’s mom. We talked about weddings, family, and all those emotional little moments that matter so much on a wedding day — especially the getting-ready photos. Those quiet moments between a mother and daughter before the ceremony are truly priceless, and I was so excited knowing I would get to capture that part of the day for them.


A Beautiful Bridal Morning in Mission, BC

The morning started with the girls getting pampered by the incredibly talented Makeup by Kyla based in Mission. I have worked alongside Kyla for years and honestly adore her. We always have the best time together — lots of laughs, goofy moments, and fun energy all morning long. Beyond being an amazing person, she makes every bride and bridesmaid look absolutely stunning.


Hair styling was done by Mane Hair Studio, and the entire bridal party looked incredible. Everything tied together so perfectly with the soft romantic tones and elegant details Taylor chose for the day.


Taylor found her dream dress at Lisa’s Bridal, and it honestly looked like something out of a fairytale. The soft off-white gown featured delicate woven floral details that perfectly matched her long flowing veil. She truly looked like a princess walking through the venue.


One of my favourite details? Taylor paired her elegant bridal look with fun floral sneakers so she could stay comfortable all day long. She also had matching heels and a purse from ALDO, which added such a fun and stylish touch to the day. I absolutely love when couples bring personality into their wedding style.


Elegant Green Wedding Style at Redwoods Golf Course


Mattias and the guys wore dark green suits that looked incredibly sharp and worked perfectly with the sage green bridesmaid dresses. The entire colour palette fit the natural beauty of Redwoods Golf Course so beautifully and gave the wedding such a timeless West Coast feel.


The floral arrangements by Niche Boutique Florals were absolutely stunning and added the perfect romantic touch throughout the ceremony and reception spaces.


And the cake — wow. The beautiful wedding cake created by Sugar by Tracy Irwin was truly a work of art. Every detail was so thoughtfully done, and you could tell how much heart and creativity Tracy poured into it.

Favourite Moments From Taylor & Mattias’ Wedding Day


There were so many moments throughout the day that stood out to me, but a few instantly come to mind.


Watching Mattias’ reaction as Taylor walked down the aisle was one of the sweetest moments of the entire day. You could see every emotion written all over his face, and it was impossible not to feel emotional witnessing it.

The dance floor was another highlight. The energy was unreal, and everyone danced the night away to some of the best rock songs. It was such a fun crowd and exactly the kind of celebration I love photographing.


One of my favourite candid moments happened during bridal party photos. The bridesmaids’ feet were hurting from their heels, so I finally told them to just kick them off and run through the grass barefoot. The instant relief and happiness on their faces was adorable, and it turned into such a fun, carefree moment that perfectly captured the spirit of the day.
