This annual event celebrates outstanding local businesses in Mission and recognizes the entrepreneurs who are making a meaningful impact in our community.

The awards ceremony brought together an incredible group of business owners, community leaders, and supporters who believe in building a strong business community. The energy in the room was inspiring, and it was an honour to stand alongside so many hardworking and passionate entrepreneurs.
Wild Sage Photography was awarded Home-Based Business of the Year, sponsored by Tow Of The Day. Knowing that nominations were collected from the community, followed by voting and evaluation from a panel of Chamber judges from other offices across Canada and USA, makes this recognition even more meaningful.
A Full Circle Moment
I started my photography journey when my son was 11 years old and my daughter was just six months old. I was learning my craft in between naps, school pick-ups, and the beautiful chaos of raising a young family.
Having my son there at the ceremony with his wife made the evening even more meaningful. As they were announcing the winners, I reached over, held his hand, and he helped calm my nerves. That quiet, steady support in such a big moment meant everything. He has grown up alongside my passion, so sharing that milestone with him by my side felt like the most beautiful full-circle moment.
More Than Just Wedding Photography
Being a home-based wedding photography business is about so much more than taking beautiful images. It involves marketing, client communication, timeline planning, editing, social media management, workflow systems, and creating a seamless experience from inquiry to gallery delivery.
My goal has always been to provide an elevated, stress-free experience for couples in Mission, Abbotsford, and across the Fraser Valley. Being trusted to capture one of the most important days in someone’s life is something I never take lightly.
